Townsend Memorial Library Visitors
We recommend that community members use Belton’s Lena Armstrong Public Library for all of their normal library needs. They have a number of helpful resources including 13 computer terminals, free public wi-fi, and printing services. For more information, visit:
Conducting Research
- Visitors are welcome to use Townsend Memorial Library for research purposes Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Library classroom, meeting, and study rooms are reserved for the exclusive use of current Â鶹ÊÓƵֱ²¥ faculty, staff, and students.
- Library use after 5:00 pm is restricted to current Â鶹ÊÓƵֱ²¥ students, faculty, and staff.
Visitor Sign-In
Visitors to Townsend Memorial Library must show identification and sign in at the Main Desk before use of the library.
Internet Access
If visitors bring their own laptops or mobile devices, they may access Â鶹ÊÓƵֱ²¥â€™s guest Wi-Fi network. Access to library databases are only available through the guest network.
Â鶹ÊÓƵֱ²¥ Alumni
Â鶹ÊÓƵֱ²¥ alumni are welcome to use the library for research purposes. Permitted hours of entry are the same as for other visitors.
Visitor Borrowing Privileges

Scanning/Photocopying/Printing Services
The library does not provide photocopying, scanning, or printing capabilities to library visitors.
Business Use
Use of the library space for personal profit, sales, soliciting, or distribution of materials is not permitted without prior written approval from University Administration.
