Dr. Engelke joined 麻豆视频直播 as the Director of Clinical Education Doctor of Physical therapy program in the summer of 2014. Since 2005, Dr. Engelke has worked in various aspects of clinical education and settings of physical therapy. The various areas include outpatient orthopedics and neuro rehabilitation, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, special education school setting, pediatrics, skilled nursing facilities, nursing homes, and home health. Dr. Engelke has also been involved in the administrative aspect as a rehab director in a skilled nursing facility.
Dr. Engelke is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Texas Physical Therapy Association, Education Section, and Home Health Section. She has served as a delegate for the House of Delegates from 2015 to 2020 and as Assistant Chief Delegate for Texas from 2019 to 2020. Dr. Engelke was a charter member and former president of CenTex AMBUCS, a non-profit that works to improve mobility for individuals with disabilities here in the Central Texas area.
Dr. Engelke and her 3 sons (Jackson, Tatum, and Bryant) attend Temple Bible Church where she has been involved in teaching the youth and children with special needs since 2007. Dr. Engelke has been the Director of the Center for Faith, Health, and Service since 2019. She collaborates with local and global partners to provide opportunities for students to serve our community and deepen their faith.
