Neurologic Residency Program
The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Doctor of Physical Therapy program and Baylor Scott & White Health have partnered together to create a 12-month Neurologic Residency Program. Residency programs provide in depth learning experiences guided toward specialty practice.
Dr. Lexie Parrish completed her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University earning her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and a Minor in Neuroscience. During her undergraduate career she was able to participate in research focusing on regeneration of the neuromuscular junction. Dr. Parrish then completed the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, graduating in December of 2023. Throughout her time in the program, she was able to continue to delve into her passion for neurological physical therapy. She states that patients with neurological conditions 鈥渁re each so unique and require personalized, creative interventions to maximize their function.鈥 Dr. Parrish is excited to continue her exploration of neurological PT practice by completing the Baylor-Scott and White and University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Neurologic Residency Program.
