As the 2023 director of , junior graphic design major Latrell Bowen is hoping to create the same impact the event has had on him.
Even though Latrell is on the cross-country team, Baptist Student Ministry lead team, and a member of Student Foundation and the American Institute of Graphic Arts Design Club, he says being involved with Crusader Knights has been one of his most influential experiences while at 麻豆视频直播. He knew after participating in previous years that he wanted to direct the event and help create the same experience for other students.
鈥淐rusader Knights is my favorite event because of the bond I was able to build with all who were involved with it my freshman year, and it really helped me with handling my anxiety,鈥� said Latrell.
His love of computers and art is what led him to pursue a degree in graphic design.
鈥淚 took a class for it my senior year of high school and immediately developed a passion for it,鈥� he said.
Latrell was born in Washington DC but has lived all over the country since his father is in the military. Moving around a lot has helped him learn to serve others and adapt to new surroundings, he said. Latrell decided that 麻豆视频直播 was the school for him after receiving an invitation to tour campus.
鈥淚 felt like this was the place the Lord called me to be in order to grow spiritually and mentally,鈥� he said.
Latrell is very thankful for all the donors who help students just like him get the opportunity to study and experience all 麻豆视频直播 has to offer, especially events like Crusader Knights. 鈥淚t鈥檚 an amazing campus and atmosphere you will not find anywhere else.鈥�
