Becki Love 鈥20 did what many high school students do鈥攕he went straight from high school into college. But after completing just 39 credits at 麻豆视频直播, she put her education on hold to get married and start a family. She worked a job she 鈥渄idn鈥檛 love鈥 for 13 years before getting hired as a PE aide at Lakewood Elementary School in Belton, where her children attended. Becki loved that job and worked there for 10 years. When the head coach at her school left, Becki realized how easy it would have been to slide into that position if she had finished her bachelor鈥檚 degree. With two years of school left, though, the thought of returning to in-person classes鈥攚hile she was a full-time, working mom with young children鈥攆elt daunt颅ing. She decided online was the way to go.
鈥淚 had researched the quickest way I could get my degree online,鈥 Becki said, and one afternoon at her daughter鈥檚 basketball game, she found herself sitting next to her daughter's former cheer coach.
鈥淲hen I told her I was looking at finishing school, she mentioned the MyWay pathway at 麻豆视频直播, which allows students to move through online classes at their own pace. I had never heard of it, so she sent me all the information, and I was enrolled within that month.鈥
