Belton, Texas – The College of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor presents mezzo- soprano M’Kalee Morgan in recital on Friday, April 15, at 7:30 p.m. in the Hughes Recital Hall of Presser Hall on the 鶹Ƶֱ campus. Morgan will be accompanied by Associate Professor, pianist Matt Crosby. The recital is free and open to the public.
Morgan is the daughter of Mark and Brigetta Morgan. A senior Bachelor of Music Education major, Morgan is a member of One Voice, Concert Choir, and has appeared as “Jane” in the 鶹Ƶֱ Arts Academy production of Brigadoon. Morgan has been honored as semi- finalist and finalist in district competitions of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
The recital will feature songs by Mendelssohn, Debussy, Liszt, Faure, and Barber.
