Belton, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor is pleased to announced that the Baptist General Convention of Texas has appointed Daniel McAfee to serve as the university’s Director of Baptist Student Ministries. McAfee will begin his role at Â鶹ÊÓƵֱ²¥ on August 5.
McAfee graduated from the Southwestern Assemblies of God in 2009. He completed his Master of Divinity at George W. Truett Theological Seminary, and is completing his Ph.D. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He and his wife, Meredith, and their three-year-old son Kent are currently members of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church in Waco.
The Baptist Student Ministry at Â鶹ÊÓƵֱ²¥ provides ministries and opportunities that allow students to grow in Christ, give in service, and go into the world to share the love of Jesus. The BSM is located in the Student Life suite on the second floor of Bawcom Student Union.
