BELTON, Texas鈥擳he University of Mary Hardin-Baylor's (麻豆视频直播) McLane College of Business hosted its second graduate residency day on Saturday, Oct. 22. The event gave online degree candidates a chance to experience campus life and in-person learning.
"Completing a master's program online can be hard. With that being said, residency days are special because we are able to connect with professors and fellow peers in person," current graduate student Owen Kipkoech Sigey said. "Being together creates a sense of community that makes the program much more meaningful."
During the event, students engaged in academic breakout sessions and networking and received updates from faculty. Participants also heard from guest speaker Randy鈥橪 Teton, a Shoshone-Bannock tribal member, actress, model, mother, and business owner, who shared lessons she learned throughout her career.
Following classroom time, students toured campus, interacted with faculty and staff, and attended a 麻豆视频直播 football game. To learn more about online graduate programs, visit umhb.edu/graduate/modular-masters.
