Kristi Trammell, PT, DPT, NCS, ADCE, EdD

Dr. Trammell is currently an associate professor in the DPT program. In addition, she serves as the program's Assistant Director of Clinical Education and the Curriculum Coordinator for the Baylor Scott & White Health/麻豆视频直播 Neurologic PT Residency Program.

Dr. Trammell joined 麻豆视频直播 as adjunct faculty in 2016, then transitioned to full-time faculty in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program in the summer of 2017. She has been a practicing physical therapist since 2007 and worked in a variety of settings, including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation, and skilled nursing facilities. Dr. Trammell has also worked in various management positions, including serving as Director of Rehab Services for a local hospital system. She has concentrated her clinical practice in neurorehabilitation and in acute care/critical care and became a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy in 2018. She also completed her EdD in September 2023, focusing on Health Professions Education.

Dr. Trammell is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Texas Physical Therapy Association (TPTA), Acute Care Section, Cardiopulmonary Section, Education Section, and Neuro Section. She has served on the TPTA Board of Directors in roles including District Chair, Committee Chair, member of the Executive Committee, Annual Conference Committee Chair, and House of Delegates representative. Dr. Trammell has been an active member of the APTA's Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy, serving on committees focused on professional development programming and neurological residency resources. She is also a member of the Junior League of Waco and has been able to work on various projects to benefit the Central Texas community.

Dr. Trammell and her husband, Evan, have two young children and live on the outskirts of Valley Mills. They attend First Baptist Church in Valley Mills, where they have both been members since childhood.
