The literary journal The Windhover will be hosting their larger than before, biennial Windhover Writers’ Festival for Christian writers this Feb. 19-21 at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
The Windhover Writers’ Festival webpage noted,“Our goal is to create a space where writers of all levels can integrate their Christian faith into carefully crafted work, find encouragement, and elevate their writing.”
Dr. Toby Coley, editor of The Windhover and director of Windhover Writers’ Festival, said,“This year’s festival includes a keynote by national poet Dana Gioia, readings and workshops by authors Katy Carl and Daniel Bowman Jr., and a performance by the Improvised Shakespeare Company-major events are free to the public.”
Students may also register now for one of the following additional workshops: poetry, fiction, nonfiction, improvisation, or craft feedback as written on the Writers’ Festival webpage.
