Academic Advisement

Each student is assigned an academic advisor according to major. The academic advisor assists the student in making progress towards a degree. Prior to registering each semester, all students must obtain approval of their proposed schedules as well as registration clearance in the student information system from their assigned academic advisor.

Registration

Students who have received registration clearance in the student information system from their advisors may enroll and/or make changes to their class schedules online via MyCampus. Students needing assistance with completing these tasks may email registrar@umhb.edu. Students should include their name, their id number, the type of assistance needed, and the full course numbers, including section numbers, of pertinent classes in their email.
